App: Heart Knows — relationship journal for iOS and Android
By downloading or using Heart Knows, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Heart Knows is intended for adults; you must be 18 or older to use it.
Heart Knows helps you record how people make you feel, meeting by meeting. The app stores your notebook on your device in an encrypted database. We do not host your journal on our servers, and we cannot read, recover or reset it.
Heart Knows has no account, no sign-in and no password. Nothing you write is linked to an identity we hold. Deleting the app's data on your device (see Export and deletion) removes the notebook from this phone. Anonymous purchase, install or diagnostic records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat or Firebase are not in that wipe — email 132.rishabh@gmail.com to request deletion of those, as described in the Privacy Policy.
On iOS, your licence to use the app, and every purchase made through the App Store, is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If anything in these terms conflicts with the Standard EULA for an App Store download or purchase, the Standard EULA prevails. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and is a third-party beneficiary of the Standard EULA. On Android, your licence is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service.
Prices are shown in the app in your store's currency. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed price for the same period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies; we cannot issue them. Restore a purchase on the same store account with Restore on any purchase screen or in Settings → Subscription.
You own what you write. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your entries and for anything you write about other people. Heart Knows never rates, ranks or judges the people you write about. If you dictate an entry, transcription runs on your device.
Heart Knows is a personal memory tool. It is not medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice, and it does not predict, estimate or score anything. Do not rely on it in place of a qualified professional, and do not use it in an emergency.
Settings → Backup → Export encrypted backup writes a copy protected by a passphrase you choose; we never hold the passphrase and cannot recover it. Settings → Delete all data destroys the journal and its encryption key on this device. Neither is gated behind a purchase. Deleting data does not cancel a store subscription. Any anonymous purchase, install or diagnostic records held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat or Firebase are described in the Privacy Policy and can be requested for deletion at the contact address below.
Do not use the app to harass or defame others, break the law, attempt to bypass billing or encryption, or reverse-engineer the app except where the law permits.
We may update the app, its features or these terms. When terms change, the effective date above changes and the new text ships with the next app update and on this page. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
The app is provided as is without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for decisions you make based on your notes, for data loss from device failure, for a forgotten export passphrase, or for lost encryption keys after a wipe, security reset or restore. If this device can no longer open the on-device database, the app cannot restore from a backup file on that screen — restore while the app still opens, using a passphrase export you made earlier. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
You may stop using the app at any time. Delete all data in Settings to remove your notebook from the device. We may withdraw the app from a store; your notebook remains on your device and can still be exported.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence gives you greater protection. Purchases made through the App Store are additionally subject to Apple's Standard EULA and Apple's terms.
